Last night, I tried watching comedy news. It didn't work out. The current state of our democracy, I'm finding it too tragic to laugh at it, to make fun of it...enough said. Well, not quite enough, because I am anticipating that it's going to get weird, and I will likely have to make big decisions in responding to the changes coming. Until then, and even after, I still will stay the course. No matter what else is going on, no matter where I am, I must also exert effort to keep my body healthy, keep my mind healthy, and to keep my spirit healthy. I use spirit to refer to the part of my being that feels empathy and compassion, the part that keeps me connected to a loving community. Continuing to grow into a person who can share the world with every other reasonably decent human as a member of my own family, that's a revolutionary step I'm willing to take,
